Karbonn announces four new smartphones, starting at Rs. 5,490

Karbonn Mobiles has introduced four new Android smartphones, starting at Rs. 5,500. The new Karbonn smartphones are – A16, A35, A90 and A99.

Priced at Rs. 5,490, the Karbonn A90 has a 4-inch screen. It runs Android 4.0 ICS and is powered by a 1GHz processor. The smartphone comes with a 5MP camera with flash, dual-SIM, 512MB of RAM, Wi-Fi and 1,400 mAh battery.

The Karbonn A16 is also a dual-SIM smartphone, runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, and is powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core processor. It has a 4-inch display with 480x800 pixels resolution. It sports a 5MP camera.

The A16 comes with a 4GB built-in storage and supports 32GB extended storage. The A16 comes preloaded with Hungama My Play app which includes a 1 month unlimited access to Hungama content. The smartphone is available for Rs. 6,490.

The Karbonn A99 also runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and is powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core processor. It has a 4-inch display, 5MP camera, dual-SIM, Wi-Fi, GPS Navigation, Hungama My Play, Google App Suite, Karbonn Live and Whatsapp. The smartphone is available for Rs. 6,590.
